As employers, employees, and independent consultants tread lightly though the current economic ‘minefield’, the LISUG Board of Directors has recognized that the focus is not only on enhancing your current technology skills, but also on retaining your current position and/or preparing for the next opportunity. 

This means learning how to ‘market’ yourself, finding opportunities and improving your personal ‘value equation’. 

To that goal, we have expanded this year’s agenda to include other technologies to compliment your existing skills, exposure to formal Project Management methodologies and tools, and some highly acclaimed sessions to help you understand and improve your personal and professional relationships. 

And if you find yourself in the IT marketplace for the first time in a long time, we also thought that some tips and techniques on resume writing and interviewing might be helpful

This year, the event moves to an ‘all day’ agenda with 4 distinct tracks, 20 sessions and an expanded EXPO featuring Vendor Demos!
